Using these principles, he has developed a method for creating the source material for breeding, which allows to obtain recombinant forms of soybeans and flax with rare or absent economically useful traits in the world gene pool without the use of biotechnological methods,. He has developed the principles and technology for isolating fungal disease-resistant starting material of plants with a high osmotic pressure of the cytoplasm, which provides non-specific blocking of the osmotrophic nutrition of any pathogenic fungal species with a lower osmotic pressure of the cytoplasm.
